There are three alternatives that we can recommend if you want to stay in the vicinity the night before you sit in the hide. Gysinge Hostal is the closest and cheapest but rather basic. Söderfors Mansion serve good food and offer good lodging.

• Gysinge Vandrarhem ( www.gysingevandrarhem.se). 5 km from the hide, 150 km från Stockholm, 115 km from Stockholm/Arlanda, 100 km från Stockholm/Västerås. Cheapast if you are alone, but rather basic.
  
  
• Söderfors Herrgård (www.soderforsherrgard.se) 40 km from the hide, 140 km from Stockholm, 105 km from Stockholm/Arlanda, 150 km from Stockholm/Västerås. A more expensive place. Serves good food and offers good lodging.
  
  
• You also have the possibility to arrive early in the morning and just rent a seat in the hide.
